 The objective of this research is to describe noun and verb phrases in English and Malay, specially the objective of the study is to investigate similarities and difference of the two languages especially in verb and noun phrases, the data were obtained from the text book that search in district library, and then the data put in whole of paper read it and then listen each other and then compare and analyzed. The finding show the both language have similarities and differences in noun and verb phrases.

 The Effect of Using Environmental Technique to the Students’’ Achievement in Learning Vocabulary.

 This research is intended to analyze the effect of using environmental technique in teaching vocabulary to the students of SDN 014673 Prapat Janji, Kec. xxxxx The method of this research applied is descriptive quantitative method. The population of the research is the fourth year students of SDN 014673 Prapat Janji, Kecxxxxxxxxxxxxx  Which consist of 42. The number of the population of the research, are 42 persons. In this research, all the number of population that is 42 persons taken all as a sample. This sample will teach by using environmental technique and by not using environmental technique to compare the better technique for the students’ achievement.

 The instrument of the research is the objective test. The technique of this research in describing the data is descriptive quantitative technique. Descriptive quantitative technique applied to find out the effect of using environmental technique to the students’ achievement in learning vocabulary. The data were acquired by administrating an objective test which consisted 10 items. The test was a teacher-made test.
The result of this thesis is. Based on the t-table, with Degree of freedom/df 82 (n1+n2 – 2 = 42+42-2=82) at t-critical 0.05, it is obtain 2.00. if we compared the value of to and t1, so it shown that the value of t-observed is Lower than the value of t-table (to=2.30> t1=2.00) it mean that the Ha is rejected and Ho is accepted So, there is a no significant Effect of using Environmental technique in teaching Vocabulary

 “The Kindergarten Students’ Ability in Expressing Parts of the Human Body Based on Pictures”.

The objective of this research is to find out the effect of using media picture to the kindergarten students’ ability in expressing part of Body, also for the teacher who teach the English especially vocabulary topic. To increase their vocabulary and also as the additional insight. The study investigates the effect of using media picture to the students’ ability in expressing part of human body, the data were obtained from the kindergarten student by using test, and analyzed. The population in this research was xxxxxxxxxxxxxx of the Academic Year 2005-2006, and the sample is Nol Besar class that consist of 35 students, In collecting data of research used test, there is essay test consisted of 10 items. The test was teacher made test that is two kinds of test. the conclusion shows that 47 students or 78.33% from the whole sample were able to expressing the part of human body based on the picture. Whereas 13 students or 21.66% from the whole sample data were unable to expressing part of human body based on the picture.

The objective of this research is to To find out correlation of using words category method and students’ achievement in learning vocabulary. To increase their vocabulary and also as the additional insight. The study investigates the effect of of using words category method to students’ achievement in learning vocabulary, the data were obtained from SMP Muhammadiyah 44. Jxxxxxxxxxx , and the sample is two parallel of second level class that consist of 40 students in 2A and 40 students in 2B, In collecting data of research used test, there is essay test consisted of 20 items. The test was was two kind of the test paper one is for the first type that was looking for the meaning of the words that put based on the word category, and the second was for the second type is looking for the meaning of the words that put not based on the word category or randomly. The finding shows that the teaching the second level of SMP Muhammadiyah 44. Jalan Mesjid Taqwa xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx  is better thought by using words category method than thought without using words category method

 The objective of this research is to describe the intonations of utterances in uttering Javanese and Batak in utters the words and sentences and also for the lecturer who teach the sociolinguistics. To increase their knowledge and also as the additional insight. The study investigates similarities and differences of intonation in two language, the data were obtained from the native speaker of the two language, their utterances were recorded., and analyzed. The finding show the both language have similarities and differences.

The objective of this research to investigate students’ ability in Studying English Sentence Classification, the sources of the data or the subjects were 30 students of Mts. Alwasliyah Jln. ccccNo. 82 Kec.xxxx. Medan selected randomly as the samples. The data was obtained by administering the test (multiple choice and essay test). The method in this research is descriptive quantitative the data were collected then processed by applying t test. It is found that the researcher shows that the student are able in Studying English Sentence Classification, it shows from the data thet shown 100 of student has score 60 up. And 90 % has score 75 up.

 The Effects of Using Completion Technique to the Students’ Achievement in Learning Vocabulary

 The study attempted to investigate learning vocabulary by using completion technique or without using completion technique is better to the students achievement in learning vocabulary. The objectives of this study was to find out the students’ achievement in learning vocabulary which was indicated by the students’ scores by using completion technique.
 The population of this research was the the 2006/2007 second year’s student of SMU Negeri 1 xxxxxxx. There are two parallel classes in the second years. Based on the population was taken as the sample 40 students. They were divided into two groups : experimental group (using completion technique) and control group (not using completion technique).
 The data were acquired by administrating objective test, which consisted of 20 items. The test was teacher-made test. This test was reliable, to be a test in using completion technique. 
 It was found out that the students achievement who are taught by using completion technique is better than the student who are taught without using completion technique. . Based on the t-table, with Degree of freedom/df 78 (n1+n2 – 2 = 40+40-2=78) at t-critical 0.05, it is obtain 2.00. if we compared the value of to and t1, so it shown that the value of t-observed is Lower than the value of t-table (to=3.06< t1=2.02) it mean that the Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected.
